As is customary with new programmers in any language, the first thing to write is a program that prints out “Hello, World!!”  Now, I know Chinese isn’t a programming language, but since that’s where a lot of my background is, here it is;

你好, 世界!!

I’ve already learned how to speak and read (and even type) quite a bit of Chinese.   But I decided that, in order to motivate myself, it was time for a  Julie & Julia kind of push.  To share what I know and to find new things to share.  365 days of teaching Chinese.  After all, to teach is to learn twice.
